Unfortunately yet again, the Lions choked when playing Thailand away. This was basically a “cup final” for the Lions which they needed to win. Should have started with a 4-3-3 with Khairul Amri, Ikhsan and Faris upfront to get the goals that they needed. This was a weak Thailand that we could have beaten. Irfan has all the talent but lack the composure in such a high tension game which Baihaki could have provided in this game. All in all, a much better show from the Lions than the last edition of this competition though.
