It might be time for change further than charging for plastic bags. Maybe supermarkets stop selling the plastic bags all together and start using paper bags or even possibly only selling cloth bags at tills? It would definately be an insentive to bring your own as they wpuld be more costly? I do sometimes buy new plastic bags but rarely. I have a bag of shopping bags that i re use every week for my shopping. Its only a small change but it all helps hopefully.

Poor sea turtles as well.. they suffer a great deal.. humans have become desensitized to everthing, murders,poverty,etc… As long as they are not affected, they simply do not care. Very sad times.
